No an appointment is is not necessary. You may drop of your computer on a first come first serve basis. We also offer a expedited service where a dedicated technician will work on your computer right away if it can’t wait. Also. If you would like to schedule a repair in advanced, we will do our best to accommodate the preferred day.
Usually computer repairs take 3-5 business days. Some repairs are much quicker than that while others need ongoing troubleshooting or parts ordered. We do our best to quote you the ETA at drop off, but if we run into unforeseen issues we will keep you updated every step of the way.
In addition to your computer please bring your power cord. You do not need to bring your keyboard or mouse unless that is related to the issue you are having.
We hope that you had some sort of backup in place before your computer failed, but we will never wipe your data without your permission. One of the most common problems we see is a failing hard drive, which stores your data. Since your computer is an electronic device that is already showing symptoms of failure, we cannot accept responsibility for any additional device failures that happen after you deliver the computer to us. With that in mind, we know your data is important to you and we will always put in every effort to save your data before your drive fails completely.
