No, an appointment is not necessary. Most iPhone repairs are done with in the hour so walk-ins are welcome. However, if you would like to schedule a repair for a certain time, feel free to give us a call and we’ll do our best to fit you in the desired time slot.
Apple Inc. does not manufacture any parts. They are only a design and engineering company. The parts Apple uses in the iPhone are bought from Chinese vendors and assembled in China. Many of the parts we use come from the similar vendors in China. So though we cannot claim that our parts are “from Apple” they are manufactured to the same strict OEM specifications and we are often unable to tell the difference. If you would like to see what your your screen would look like after the repair, we can show you a model repair for comparison.
Your screen quality will look just as good as it did before. If you would like to see what your repaired screen will look like for comparison, stop by our shop to see the display models. We also use a special device to copy your screens serial over to the new one. Without this, your screens “True Tone” will not work. Watch out for repairs shops that don’t provide this, although your screen will work, it will be missing this feature. At Fixoid we provide this for all iPhone repairs free of charge. (Keep in mind this is only possible if the screen getting repaired is original and/or if you had it replaced previously, the serial number must be in tact.)
Yes, cracked screen repairs, battery replacements, and charging port replacements can be repaired while you wait. If the problem diagnosed needs more troubleshooting, the technician may request more time. We do our best to give you the most accurate time frame, but it the case we run in to any unforeseen challenges, we will always update you.
