Do I need a ticket number before I ship?+
Yes — always. Without a ticket number we can't match your device to your repair when it arrives. Start your repair at fixoid.com/start-repair to get your ticket number first.
How should I pack my device?+
Wrap it in bubble wrap, pack it in a sturdy box with foam or padding on all sides, and include your ticket number on a piece of paper inside. Damage during shipping is the shipper's responsibility — pack it like it matters.
Will you wipe my data?+
Never without your permission. We only access what we need to diagnose and fix the issue. If a repair requires a reset we'll confirm with you first.
What if the repair costs more than the quote?+
We contact you before doing anything that changes the original quote. You approve it or we send it back. No surprise charges, ever.
What if my device can't be repaired?+
If we can't fix it, you don't pay for the repair. We'll send it back with a diagnostic report explaining what we found.
How long does the whole process take?+
Most repairs are done within 1–3 business days of arrival. Add shipping time both ways and you're typically looking at about a week total depending on your location.
Do you ship to my state?+
We accept mail-ins from anywhere in the US. Ship to our Vancouver, WA location and we'll ship it right back to you when it's done.
