Yes. E-ink screens are a different part from tablet glass, and we replace them on Paperwhite, Oasis and basic Kindle models. If part of the page is stuck on an old image or there's a crack across it, the screen is usually the fix.

If a new cable doesn't fix it, it's almost always the charging port, which is a straightforward repair. If the port isn't the problem, it's a charging fault on the board, and we do that work too.

Don't charge it and don't put it in rice. Bring it in as soon as you can so we can clean the board before corrosion spreads. Waterproof Kindles can still take on water once a seal wears or the screen cracks.

Yes. The Kids editions are the same tablet inside a thicker case, so it's the same repair as the regular model.

They're sealed with adhesive, so repairs take a little longer than phones. Screens and batteries are often done the same day if you drop off early, or overnight if you bring it in later.
