Common questions.

Not if it's done right. The under-display or side-mounted fingerprint sensor is separate from the screen on most Motorola models. We test the fingerprint sensor after every screen replacement before the phone goes back.
Almost always yes. A screen replacement costs significantly less than a new Motorola in most cases. Even on older models the math usually works out — but we'll give you an honest assessment. If it doesn't make sense to fix, we'll tell you straight.
If a new cable doesn't fix it, the issue is almost always the charging port itself or a charge IC fault on the board. The port is a straightforward repair. The charge IC is board-level work — but we do it. Bring it in and we'll diagnose which one it is before touching anything.
Don't turn it on — that's the most important thing. Even Motorola phones with IP ratings can fail after repeated or prolonged exposure. Powering up a wet board causes short circuits that create the real damage. Bring it in as soon as possible so we can clean the board properly.

Yes — we work on iPhones going back to the early models. Parts availability gets thinner on older Motorola models but we source what we can. Bring it in and we'll tell you what's possible.
Your data stays on your phone — we don't access it and most repairs don't require a factory reset. That said, we always recommend backing up your Motorola before any repair. If something goes wrong unexpectedly, a backup means nothing is lost.
