Microsoldering
& Board-Level Repair.

Component-level repair for devices with damaged circuit boards. We diagnose failures under magnification and repair the board itself.

What We Repair.

These are the problems people walk in with. Micro soldering is how we fix them — but that's our job to figure out, not yours.

01

Won't Turn On

Completely dead. No lights, no fan spin, nothing. Usually a failed power IC, a shorted capacitor, or a blown fuse on the board — components we can replace directly.

02

Won't Charge

Plugged in but nothing happens. Or it charges only at certain angles, or gets hot. Often a failed charging IC or damaged pads — not the port itself, but what's behind it on the board.

Port Fell Off or Broke

USB-C snapped off. HDMI pulled out. iPad Lightning port broke loose. We re-solder the port directly onto the board — or rebuild the pads if they tore off with it.

Water Damage

Got wet and now something's wrong. Liquid shorts components across the board. We clean it, identify what failed, and replace the damaged components — not just dry it out.

GPU & Display Issues

Lines on screen, GPU artifacts, flickering, or a display that won't work even after a screen replacement. When the fault is the GPU, display IC, or a damaged pad on the board — that's exactly where we work.

Board-Level Damage

Big brands replace the whole board — it's the fastest path for them. We do what they do on the back end, but for you upfront. Every board failure is different, and we diagnose each one individually rather than swapping and moving on.

If anyone can
fix it — it's us.

Board-level repair is one of the most technically demanding things in device repair. Some jobs call for a replacement part. Some call for working directly on the board under a microscope — replacing components measured in fractions of a millimeter. Some call for both.

We've been doing this for over 25 years. We've seen the damage other shops declined, the boards written off as unrepairable, and the devices that just needed someone willing to go deeper.

01

We work under magnification

Stereo microscopes at 40x+ magnification. Components we replace are often smaller than a grain of salt.

02

We find what actually failed

A replacement logic board often costs close to a new device. We find what actually failed and replace just that — saving you from an unnecessary board swap or upgrade you didn't need.

03

Liquid damage sometimes needs more than a cleaning

Liquid damage shorts components. We trace where it failed and repair at the source — not just clean it and hope.

04

We'll always tell you if it doesn't make sense

Before we start, we tell you exactly what we found and what it costs. If the repair cost approaches what a replacement would run you, we'll tell you that too — we'd rather you make the right call than just take your money.

Common Questions.

Straight answers about board-level repair.

Apple told me the board is dead. Should I believe them?
Usually no. Apple doesn't do component-level repair — they replace the whole logic board or decline the job. A "dead board" to them is often a single failed component to us. Bring it in before writing it off.
How long does board-level repair take?
Diagnosis is usually same-day. Simple component replacements are often done the same day or next. More complex board work may take 2–4 days. We'll give you a realistic estimate before we start.
Is this more expensive than a normal repair?
It depends on what failed. Board-level work takes more time and skill, but it's almost always cheaper than a new device or a full logic board replacement. You'll know the cost before we start.
My device got wet. How fast should I bring it in?
As fast as possible. Turn it off, don't try to charge it, and bring it in. Every hour that passes allows corrosion to spread. The sooner we get to it, the better the odds.
Do you work on consoles, tablets, and other devices?
Yes — if it has a circuit board, we can work on it. PS5 HDMI ports, Switch charging boards, VR headsets, MacBooks, Windows laptops, phones, tablets. Bring it in and we'll take a look.
What if you can't fix it?
It's less about can't and more about whether it makes sense. Some repairs bring a device back to factory condition. Others — especially after severe damage — can get it working, but with no guarantee of longevity. We'll always be straight with you about what's realistic before you commit to anything.
